This side is from the city of Cremona in the north of Italy, a provincial capital famous for its cathedral and opera house.

Formed in 1903, they had heir golden period in the 20s, finishing in the top seven of Serie A four years in succession. However, they were less successful after the war, and at the time of this tournament had spent over twenty years in Serie C.
